Ghosts By the Coast is a family-owned and operated business. The Costals, a family of seven, have been local to the island for the past 16 years. Joe is an award-winning writer, speaker and teacher, with over two decades experience teaching writing and research at Stockton University. When Jenn hung up "fairy godmother" wings at Walt Disney World, she became an educational media specialist serving as a librarian at a local school district.

When their son Charlie is not guiding ghost tours, he is a sophomore at the University of North Carolina and a denizen of the stage at the Ocean City Theatre Company.
